i’m rewatching the entirety of the 90’s sabrina the teenage witch as one does when going thru it and it never fails to impress after all these years.

the only himbo who stands a chance against kronk is harvey. sabrina is a morosexual and i applaud her for it because i may be a lesbian but she clearly has perfect taste. salem is the bisexual feline felon icon the world deserves. the definition of be gay, do crimes (get turned into a cat). hilda and zelda? spot on responsible sister irresponsible sister dynamic. my beloved michael and gob bluth could never compare, nor could the marvelous tina and queenie goldstein.

there’s a tree in the kitchen, salem has a stack of waffles on his mf head while making a snazzy one liner, hilda and zelda are bickering with flawless but loving zingers and sabrina is writing an article about how her himbo bf is being taken advantage of by the emphasis put on sports over education due to lack of funding in public schools.

sabrina gets mild revenge on her high school bully using magic every episode and there’s a menacing, mysterious and meticulously worldbuilt other dimension of witches but they still require jury duty that everyone tries to dodge. i wished i lived in this television show as a kid and absolutely still do now.

ps: why did anyone think that viewers needed a grimdark remake to overshadow something as marvelous as this? like my apologies to the chilling adventures of sabrina but this sh!t is 100% flawless y’all can fight me on that.

What fic do you think best shows your style of writing?

this is such an interesting question! i partly don’t know at all because i like to experiment a lot and i do like to think that sort of experimentation is a part of my style

with that being said i do feel like i really grew into my own with metamorphosis in terms of multichapter writing, and i feel like i was able to do a lot with the structure and feel of it. however, im obviously not always writing multichapters, and i do think i have a different sort of style for shorter fics which i think shows through in stuff like the definition of insanity or doa that relies on snippet-y sections that kind of blur the lines between time, character, and emotions

but honestly i don’t know! i feel like everyone else would be able to say what’s me better than i can :”)
